Meet the Artists

Courtney & Adam

Courtney began exploring the art of blown glass at Kent State University in 2009. Growing up, she was mesmerized by way the glowing orange ball of liquid glass was able to be twisted and shaped to the artist’s will. As an adult, she strove to gain that skill herself. Upon graduation, she needed to find a way to continue to work with glass at home when landlords frown at 2000-degree furnaces in apartments. This quest led her to begin the exploration of stained glass as well.

Adam is a “Mess Around and Find Out” style artist. When he and Courtney first teamed up, he was creating jewelry and sculptures from resin. When he was ready for a change, he moved to stuffie creation; first out of crochet and then sewn fleece. Now, he has turned his attention to leathercraft. As a fellow lover of fantasy and the macabre, he enjoys shaping, dying, painting, and stitching leather into wearable masks and whimsical and spooky decor.
