How It Works

Fill out the form below to tell us a bit about your ceremony and upload pictures of your color swatches. We will work with you to find frit (crushed glass pieces) that most closely match your colors to use with your celebration.

Sand Ceremony:

A sand ceremony is a unity ritual in which two or more different sands from different vessels are poured into a single vessel. The joining of the sands represents the joining of the lives and family of the individuals.

For this beautiful ceremony, you would be given small pieces of colored glass. You would need to make sure that the colored glass does not get mixed with anything but the glass we give you. We will provide small jars for you to transport the separate colors. Pick a date after the ceremony and schedule a private workshop where you will bring your combined colors, and we will use them to create a one-of-a-kind glass memento. You may choose to create multiple pieces for an additional cost. Think you may want to make more pieces later on but don’t want to risk losing the colors? We are happy to hold onto the extra frit for 6 months. After that time, it will rejoin our studio supply.

Cost

Base Price:
$60 per standard color*. Includes a free workshop to make 1 item from the list below

* Specialty colors (pinks, purples, sparkly, etc) may be an additional cost if the market rate is greater than $60. We will let you know beforehand if any of your colors may be a higher cost.

Workshop Options:
First item is included in the base price. Extra pieces are at the cost below

$50 - Flower, Ring Holder, Bird, Stemless Rose, Heart
$60 - Ornament (round or pointy)
$70 - Pumpkin, Love Birds*
$80 - Bud Vase, Drinking Glass, Mushroom

Love the concept but prefer a hands-off approach? Drop-off or ship your colors back to us and our artists will work to create your desired piece(s) for you to cherish

*Love Birds is for 1 person making 2 birds. If a single bird is desired, it is $50
